Bright and Orange


A colleague brought fresh oranges from his parents' tree. I had a feast! They were sweet and juicy and filled me up as an after-the-staff-meeting midmorning snack. Later, I had linguini with shrimp pesto and salad for lunch. While satisfying, the creamy after-taste made me crave for some citrus palate cleansing. Luckily, there were a few of the oranges left in our office kitchen so I took a couple of those treats and relished them as healthy dessert! That was a few hours ago and I am still feeling satiated.

The bright color and sweet, juicy taste were great pick-me-uppers, especially on a Friday!
