Simmering

It is the first weekend of the NBA (National Basketball Association) playoffs. As I write this, the third game of a triple-header on TNT cable station is still ongoing with the Denver Nuggets leading the New Orleans Hornets. It is still minutes away before the end of the first half.

The game before that was between the Miami Heat vs. the Atlanta Hawks. The Heat lost, 64 to 90, in what was written to be the Heat's season low.

The Heat wasn't too hot in today's game but what caught my attention was their coach, Erik Spoelstra. He is currently the youngest NBA coach at 38 years old, and this is his rookie year after succeeding Pat Riley a year ago.

You can read more about Spoelstra through an internet search. Suffice it to say, Coach Erik will be someone that will be hard for me to ignore through this playoff series, even though he isn't playing and will always be in a suit. :-)
