I felt dry, sore throat four days ago. My cold arrived this past weekend and find myself sniffling or sneezing since; the box of tissue my new best friend nowadays. It's a mild cold and I am still able to do most things that I would normally, except with just a little less pep. Sleep is very inviting whenever the thought arises, and the comforting warmth of bundling and snuggling sounds luxurious. At least, the sore throat is gone, I am able to swallow and taste food, and I don't feel too much ear pressure. I have an excuse to be anti-social (don't want to inflict contagious germs) and listen to the sound of my altered voice. There is no onset of vertigo and fluid intake is pride in voluntarily finishing a full pitcher of water everyday, if not more. Although the stuffiness makes things a little strained sometimes, I am still able to breathe normally and smell aromas of soothing pleasure.
Excuse me, I have to blow my nose.

I love that ... whenever I feel anti-social, I'll just say: "I have a cold." Better yet, whenever I have a difficult patient, I'll just say: "Gottta go!!! Wouldn't want to infect you with my cold!"
