For the remaining staff who were still in the office today before the week long office closure for winter break, we had a mini-potluck lunch. The spread was amazing and generously filling. Being able to spend time together to chat and just catch up was a lot of fun! We were able to relax in each other's company without the hectic demands or pressures that we all know about during the busy weeks of the term.
Siesta sounds very inviting just right after lunch, and I feel I can still use one right now. However, it isn't really an option for me at the moment. Still, no regrets for doing the very satisfying potluck.
