Days Later ...

... I was greeted this morning by the lily blooms!

For the past few days, I anxiously waited for the unfurling of the blossoms. I actively noticed the ripeness of the buds from their raw green tightness (see prior blog post photos) to the relaxing slow stain of the orange hue as the petals cautiously began to reveal themselves.

The red carnations seem to anchor the new blossoms, as they all perk up towards the sun.

I could look at the flowers endlessly, with ongoing excitement as I anticipate more blooms when I return after the weekend.

My bouquet looks celebratory in their colors and alive in their transformation, making my heart full!
