When most of the blossoms from this month's bouquet have wilted, the yellow daisies remain and persist in their brightness. I am very pleased and grateful because when I first bought the arrangement, I thought that they were the ones which I had to take out first since they were a little droopy.
It is now more than three full weeks. I don't know what awaits me when I return to my office on Monday. Maybe it's just a daisy's nature to hold on but the flowers have graced my window long enough so I can retire them, in time for the next bunch in a few months.
