When I saw this, while browsing my Facebook page at past one o'clock in the morning, I could imagine hearing the sound of a "splat!" muted by the cushion, and about an image of a big squishy marshmallow!
His mother's caption for the photo was, I think Sterling heard the financial news that day.

ReplyDeleteI talked to Sterling's mom about the photo and she said that she just found him like that ... not asleep but part of his fooling around, and that maybe, the soft cushion was another exploratory object for him.
ReplyDeleteBut, now that you mentioned it, you're right. It does look scary and more sinister if you look at it longer. At least I have another blog photo of him, awake and happy in his playpen.
