September 22nd is the first day of autumn.
Summer has come and gone, at least in calendar days.
It has been a largely uneventful summer but I feel that the moments in between have been wrapped in summer warmth and untold surprises. Others are yet to keep unfolding, which I hope isn't just my wishful thinking. I suppose it is a matter of time and faith.
It is still a dream of mine to be wrapped in the magical colors of autumn that I have only seen in photos, paintings or movies ... to snuggle in a warm sweater or coat or comforting scarf as the air gets crisper, and to witness leaves, in the colors of fire, give the autumn sun its dancing shadows.
Los Angeles weather is still straddling between summer and autumn. The lack of obvious change in the season makes it a little challenging to appreciate the shift. But I know that each season eventually brings its gifts, moods and hopes.
As I see myself falling for fall, I want to usher it with one word after poring through images of the season: enchantment.

It's still hot here in Arizona!!!!!!!!!
