It's Monday.
It is still relatively quiet at work even as I write this. Summer school just started so I am sure that my colleagues and I will eventually be busy with student appointments.
Meanwhile, I started the day socializing with a colleague and friend, exchanging weekend stories.
Our conversations always have a natural flow from beginning to end, and it's always fun to listen to each other.
That chat has perked me up for the day. Hopefully, I can sustain it through the week.
Little things such as that human connection in a relaxed, pleasant setting gives an inspiring boost to my day, more than a cup of coffee can provide.
