For a while I am
close;
Barely touching,
Hardly landing yet I pose,
To illuminate a
spring evening of repose.
I cast shadows of hide and seek,
Yet I am
here and cannot be ignored.
I feel the gaze and awe
But it is always me
since time immemorial;
And intimacy always lives
With anyone who loves
and gives.
