Opening Day

I am not a fan of any one baseball team but in my own way, I appreciate the game.

Yesterday was opening day of the 2010 Major Leage Baseball (MLB) season at AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants. They won 5-4 in the 13th inning vs. the Atlanta Braves, with a 4-0 overall record.

I joined a behind-the-scenes tour of AT&T Park a year ago before the start of the 2009 season. I still have my ticket stub! It was an impressive facility and the best part for me was the view that overlooked the Bay!

I look forward to a time when I could actually return to watch a real game ... with the teams, the fans, food, atmosphere and ... yes ... the view!
